RENOVATION OF A BASIC HEALTH CENTRE IN ILE- ONA COMMUNITY,  EKITI WEST  LGA, EKITI STATE
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 6TH JULY, 2026

ACTIONAID NIGERIA and Environmental Development and Family Health Organization (EDFHO) in Ekiti State are seeking qualified and reputable contractors to express their interest in the renovation of a Basic Health Centre at Ile- Ona Community,  Ekiti West LGA, Ekiti State.

Project Description:

The project involves total renovation of Health centre building, aimed  to enhance better service delivery and provide conducive environment and enhance the living standard of people of the within the community.

 Key Details:

Scope of Work:

The contractor will be responsible for:

• Capentry works
• Installation iron doors, windows with burglaries and Alumaco structures.
• Finishing works including brick-works, plastering and painting.
• Water system and toilets works.

The contractor will also give reports at each stage of the process.

Technical Requirements: Bidders should demonstrate their expertise and capacity to have undertaken similar projects. This includes possessing the necessary equipment, experienced personnel, and evidence of track record in delivering successful classroom constructions.

Compliance: All construction activities must adhere to applicable local regulations, environmental guidelines and safety standards. Bidders should possess the required licenses and certifications.

Evaluation Criteria

Submissions will be evaluated based on:

1. Experience and past project performance
2. Technical and financial capability

• Compliance with the stated eligibility criteria

1. Completeness and clarity of the submitted documents
2. Contract Duration: The contract will be awarded for a fixed-term period. Details regarding contract duration, payment terms, and milestones will be provided to shortlisted bidders.
3. Instructions for Submission: Interested companies are requested to submit their Expression of Interest and added documentation detailing necessary company registration, licenses, experience and expertise. The EOI should include the following information:
4. Company Profile: Provide a brief overview of your company, including its background, core competencies, and key construction projects.
5. Technical Capacity: Outline your construction equipment, tools, and resources available for the project. Highlight relevant certifications, licenses, and any quality assurance processes implemented.

• Experience: Describe your company’s experience in executing similar projects, emphasizing the number of classrooms constructed, locations, and outcomes achieved. Include pictures or references from previous clients, if available.

1. Team: Introduce the key personnel who will be involved in the project, including their qualifications and relevant experience.
2. Financial Stability: Provide an overview of your company’s financial standing, demonstrating your ability to fulfill the contractual obligations and tax certificates.
3. Submission should include a detailed quotation (Interested contractors are advice to physically inspect the structure before submission of bids).

 Shortlisted contractors will be invited to participate in a detailed tender process.
