PROVISION OF CUSTOMS CLEARANCE SERVICES

Every year, UNICEF Nigeria brings vaccines, nutrition commodities, WASH supplies, education materials, and emergency relief items into the country through its seaports, airports, and land borders. Yet before these essential supplies can reach a warehouse, a health facility, or a child in need, they must first be cleared through customs quickly and efficiently. Delays at any point in the clearance process can disrupt critical programmes, slow emergency response efforts, and affect UNICEF’s ability to deliver life-saving assistance to vulnerable children and families across Nigeria.

UNICEF Nigeria invites qualified and experienced companies to express interest in providing Customs Clearance Services in support of its humanitarian and development programmes across Nigeria, with a view to establishing Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) for an initial period of two years, with the possibility of extension.

We are looking for partners with proven customs expertise, strong working relationships with Nigerian regulatory authorities, and the operational discipline to handle sensitive, time-bound, and occasionally high-value cargo. If your company has the licensing, the network, and the track record to keep UNICEF’s supplies moving through clearance without delay, we want to hear from you.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

Customs clearance of air, sea, and overland imports of programme and office supplies, including expedited clearance of timesensitive and cold-chain cargo, management of import documentation and permits, and liaison with the Nigeria Customs Service and other relevant regulatory agencies.
