CONTRACT TITLE: CIVIL WORKS FOR GROUND WORKS, SITE WORKS, AND NON-PROCESSING FACILITIES IN AIH BAGAUDA KANO

1. The Federal Government of Nigeria/Kano State Government have received financing from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of the Kano Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for: Construction involving Civil Works, Site Clearance and Construction of Non-Processing Facilities in AIH Bagauda Kano.

2. The Kano State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources through the Kano-SAPZ now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Civil Works for Ground Works, Site Works and Non-Processing Facilities in AIH Bagauda Kano

3. The Scope of Works includes but not limited to the following:
i. Site Clearance
ii. Construction of Compound Wall and Fencing
iii. Construction of Gate House
iv. Construction of Security Post
v. Construction of Administration Office
vi. Construction of QA & QC Laboratory
vii. Construction of Community Vocational Centre
viii. Construction of Health Centre

4. The expected completion period of the construction is 12 months.

5. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in IsDB’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and related services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing (April 2019, revised in February 2023) (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to 1.9.1-1.9.4 paragraphs of the Procurement Policy of the Procurement Guidelines setting forth IsDB’s policy on conflict of interest.

6. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from Head, Procurement FCT-SAPZ Unit at the address below during office hours, between the hour of from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (local time) on official working days (Monday-Friday)

7. A complete set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Three Hundred Thousand Naira (N300,000.00) only, with evidence of payments to the bank with Details provided below.

8. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of not less than N67,000,000.00. (NGN) and submitted to the address below on or before 12: 00 Noon. (local time) on Wednesday, 27th July 2026 (Six (6) weeks from the date of Advert) physically or by courier. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Bids will be publicly opened immediately thereafter, in the presence of bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend, at the address below at immediately after the close of bids. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened.
