1.The Federal Government of Nigeria/Kano State Government have received financing from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of the FCT Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for: Construction of Roads, Drainages, Culverts, Common Infrastructure and Utilities in AIH Bagauda Kano.

2.The Kano State Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources through the Kano-SAPZ now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of Roads, Drainages, Culverts, Common Infrastructure and Utilities in AIH Bagauda Kano

3.The Scope of Works includes but not limited to the following:
i. Site Clearance & Earthworks
ii. Surface Water Drainage and Culvert Works
iii. Roads Works
iv. Construction of Truck Parking
v. Waste water distribution network
vi. Solid Waste Management
vii. Water Supply Network
viii. Power Supply Facility
ix. Provision of Electricity/Solar Street Light
x. Conducts for Post & Telecommunications ducts
xi. Public Toilets
xii. Confirmatory Site Investigation at AIH Bagauda Kano

4.Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures as specified in IsDB’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and related services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing (April 2019, revised in February 2023) (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to 1.9.1-1.9.4 paragraphs of the Procurement Policy of the Procurement Guidelines setting forth IsDB’s policy on conflict of interest.

5.Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from Head, Procurement Kano-SAPZ Unit at the address below during office hours, between the hour of from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (local time) on official working days (Monday-Friday).

6.A complete set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Three Hundred & Fifty Thousand Naira (N350,000.00) only or its equivalent, with evidence of payments to the bank with Details provided below.

7.All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of not less than Four Hundred and Five Million Naira Only (N405,000,000.00) or its equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency and submitted to the address below on or before 12: 00 noon. (local time) on Wednesday, 9th December 2026 (Eight (8) weeks from the date of Advert) physically or by courier. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Bids will be publicly opened immediately thereafter, in the presence of bidders’ representatives, who choose to attend, at the address below at immediately after the close of bids. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened.
