INVITATION FOR SUBMISSION OF BILL OF QUANTITY (BOQ) FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF 5 WOMEN AND GIRLS SAFE SPACE (WGSS) FACILITIES IN KATSINA STATE

HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT PROGRAMME (HANDS), under the Strengthening the Resilience of Internally Displaced Persons and Vulnerable Households in Host Communities in Northwestern Nigeria (STILNN) Project, invites qualified and experienced contractors to submit their Bill of Quantity (BOQ) for the construction of five (5) Women and Girls Safe Space (WGSS) facilities across five (5) Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Katsina State.

Scope of Works
The proposed construction works include:

1. Building Construction Works
• Supply and installation of building materials, including cement, sand, granite chippings, laterite and blocks
• Reinforcement works, roofing, ceiling works, timber works, doors, windows and finishing materials

2. Electrical Installation Works
• Electrical accessories, distribution boards, PVC conduits and copper cables
• Installation of switches, sockets, lighting points, solar motion-sensor lights and solar-powered standing fans

3. Water Reticulation and Plumbing Works
• Supply and installation of PVC/G.I pipes and fittings
• Plumbing accessories including elbows, tees, adaptors, connectors and floor drains

4. Toilet Block and Soakaway Construction
• Civil, masonry and finishing works
• Roofing, WC/WHB fittings, plumbing installation, steel doors, aluminium windows and painting

5. Additional Works
• G.I cladding works on existing fence walls
• Carpentry, masonry, plumbing and electrical labour works

Submission Requirements
Interested and qualified contractors should submit their BOQ based on the above scope of works, including:
• Detailed cost breakdown of materials and labour
• Company profile and evidence of relevant experience
• Valid registration documents and statutory compliance documents

Submission Deadline
All submissions should be delivered to:
Health and Development Support Programme (HANDS), No 11, Galadima Road, off Umaru Musa ‘Yar’adua way, adjacent Afkar International College, Angwan Sarkin Modoji, Katsina, Katsina State.
