CONTRACT TITLE: PROCUREMENT OF CONTRACTOR FOR RECLAMATION AND AFFORESTATION OF 618HA OF DEGRADED LAND, BORROW PITS, LANDFILLS AND THE ESTABLISHMENT OF ROADSIDE PLANTATIONS IN GOMBE STATE

1. The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes Project (ACReSAL). Part of the proceeds will be applied to payments under the contract for reclamation and afforestation of 618 hectares of degraded land, borrow pits, landfills, and the establishment of roadside plantations in Gombe State.

2. The Gombe State Ministry of Water, Environment, and Forest Resources, through ACReSAL, now invites sealed bids from eligible contractors for the above works.

3. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB), in accordance with the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (September 2023 edition). Participation is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the regulations.

5. The bidding document, in English, may be purchased upon submission of a written application and payment of a non-refundable fee of ₦50,000.00 via Bank Draft in favour of Gombe State ACReSAL. Documents may be collected at the address below upon proof of payment or sent by courier at the bidder’s expense. 6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 14 July 2026 at 12:00 noon (local time). Electronic submissions will not be accepted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened at the same time and date in the presence of bidders’ representatives and other interested parties.

7. All bids must be accompanied by a valid Bid Security.
