INVITATION TO TENDER

CONSTRUCTION OF SANITATION AND WATER FACILITIES IN MISAU LGA, BAUCHI STATE

WATERAID NIGERIA, with funding from DP World under the “Increasing Access to Sustainable Climate Resilient WASH for Women in Bauchi State” project, hereby invites tenders from reputable and qualified companies for the construction of sanitation and solar-powered water facilities in Misau Local Government Area, Bauchi State.

SCOPE OF WORK

• LOT 1: Construction of sanitation facilities and a 10,000-litre capacity solar-powered borehole (with kiosk and tap islands) in Hardawa Market, Misau LGA.
• LOT 2: Construction of sanitation facilities and a 10,000-litre capacity solar-powered borehole (with kiosk and tap islands) in Akuyam Market, Misau LGA.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Interested bidders shall submit company profiles with the following:

1. Certificate of Incorporation (CAC) and certified Memorandum & Articles of Association.
2. Current Pension and ITF Compliance Certificates (valid till 31st December, 2026).
3. Registration with the State Bureau for Public Procurement.
4. Audited financial accounts and Tax Clearance Certificates for the last three (3) years (2023, 2024, 2025).
5. List of Board Members and a forwarding letter signed by the Chairman or alternate.
6. CVs of key personnel (Geologist/Hydrogeologist, Civil Engineer, Electro-Mechanical Engineer, Building Engineer) with COREN/COMEG registration.
7. Verifiable evidence of at least three (3) similar projects in the last five (5) years (award letters, completion certificates, photographs and values).
8. Evidence of financial capability, including a reference letter from a reputable commercial bank.
9. List of relevant equipment with proof of ownership/lease.
10. Sworn affidavit confirming authenticity of documents, no convictions, no bankruptcy, and no conflict of interest with Bauchi State / Misau LGA officials.
11. Work plan with project duration.
12. Evidence of mandatory site visit (photographs and GPS coordinates).

SUBMISSION

Completed bids (one original and two photocopies, plus a spreadsheet copy of the BOQ) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the company name and Lot number at the top left-hand corner. Softcopies should also be sent to procurementng@wateraid.org.

All bids must be in English, signed by an authorised official, and submitted before the deadline; late submissions will be returned unopened. All bid costs shall be borne by the bidder.
