INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE GENERAL MAINTENANCE OF SELECTED FEDERAL ROADS AND NON CONSULTANCY SERVICES

1.0 INTRODUCTION
The Federal Roads Maintenance Agency wishes to refer to its earlier advertisement published in The Nation and Daily Trust Newspapers and also the Federal Tenders Journal on 27th July, 2026 regarding the Invitation to tender for the General Maintenance Repairs of selected Federal Roads and other Works Nationwide, as well as Non-Consultancy Services. Following the conclusion of the evaluation exercise, the Agency hereby informs the general public and interested contractors that the projects listed below could not proceed to the next stage of the procurement process due to the non-responsiveness of the bids received, an insufficient number of competitive bids, and the outcome of an administrative review. Consequently, the affected lots are hereby re-advertised, and competent, experienced and reputable contractors are invited to submit tenders for the execution of the respective projects in accordance with the requirements and conditions set out in this advertisement.

CATEGORY A: THE GENERAL MAINTENANCE OF SELECTED FEDERAL ROADS

2.0 SCOPE OF WORKS:
The scope of works to be carried out includes, but is not limited to the following:
Site clearance; desilting of existing drains and culverts; construction of new drains and culverts; scarification of failed sections; earthworks on completely failed areas; general bridge maintenance; protective works; installation of kerbs, laterite/cement-stabilized sub-base, crushed stone base, asphaltic concrete binder, and wearing course; surface dressing; and provision of road markings and other road furniture.
