Date of extension of Invitation to Tender: 11th September, 2026

The general public, especially Prospective Contractors interested in Tendering and Bidding for the 2023 (3rd & 4th quarters), 2024 (1st – 4th quarters) and 2025 (1st and 2nd quarters) FGN/UBE Intervention Fund projects of the Rivers State Universal Basic Education Board, are hereby informed of the further postponement and extension of time and date of purchase and submission of Tender and opening of Bids originally advertised in the Wednesday 22nd July, 2026 edition of The SUN, VANGUARD and INDEPENDENT MONITOR newspapers to Tuesday 1st September, 2026 and subsequently extended in the Wednesday 1st September, 2026 edition of THE SUN and VANGUARD newspapers to Friday 11th September, 2026.

The African Development Bank (hereafter referred to as “The Bank”) invites qualified security service providers to submit proposals for the provision of security services to the Bank.

1) The Request for Proposal is available for downloading from this link: https://www.afdb.org/en/about-us/corporate-procurement/procurement-notices/current-solicitations. Alternatively, the document may be obtained by sending a request to: tender_rdng@afdb.org

2) Bidders must originate from one of the Bank’s member countries, list of which is provided at https://www.afdb.org/en/countries

3) Evaluation will be conducted based on quality and price according to the criteria published in the Request for Proposal as outlined below:-

4) Pass /Fail evaluation criteria
• Bidders must originate from one of the Bank’s member countries.
• Provide Audited Financial Statements for the past three years (2023, 2024 and 2025 or latest). Minimum annual average turnover of NGN 900,000,000.00
• The bidder shall have a minimum of 5 years’ experience and shall have successfully or substantially implemented as a prime contractor at least three assignments of a similar nature and complexity as a prime contractor.
• Provide a certificate of Incorporation and all other statutory registration
• Provide Tax clearance certificate of compliance in terms of Tax.
