INTRODUCTION
The Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko, Delta State, intends to utilize the Year 2026 TETFund Entrepreneurship intervention for Procurement of Office and ICT Equipment/Training, and in accordance with the requirements of the Public Procurement Act, 2007 and other extant regulations hereby invites competent and experience firms with relevant experience and good track record of prompt delivery of similar project to submit bids for pre-qualification and tender exercise for the following project:

2. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Competent and interested companies who have requisite experience and desire to execute the project are required to submit the following documents with verifiable evidence for assessment and consideration:
i. Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including form CAC2 and CAC7
ii. Evidence of Company Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years, valid till 31st December 2026
iii. Evidence of Pension Compliance Certificate (PENCOM) valid till 31st December 2026
iv. Evidence of Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December 2026
v. Evidence of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December 2026
vi. Evidence of Registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 31st December 2026 or valid Certificate issued by BPP
vii. Company Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years; 2023, 2024 and 2025
viii. A sworn affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of the University, BPP or Federal Ministry of Education is a former or present Director or Shareholder or has pecuniary interest in the bidder; and confirming that all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all particulars.
ix. Comprehensive company profile indicating organizational structure with curriculum vitae for key staff to be deployed for the project, including copies of their Academic, Professional qualifications and resumes of key managerial and technical staff with address; phone numbers and e-mail addresses.
x. Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar jobs or assignments successfully executed in the last five (5) years, including letters of Award, Valuation Certificates, and Job Completion Certificates and Photograph of the Projects
xi. Evidence of financial capability to execute the project, including Reference Letter from a reputable Bank indicating willingness to provide credit facility for execution of the project when needed.
xii Letter of Authorization or License with the Original Vehicle/Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)
xiii All documents for submission shall be transmitted with a forwarding letter under the Company/Firm’s Letter headed paper bearing amongst others, Registration number (RC) as issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Contact Address, Telephone Number (Preferably GSM No.), and Email Address. The Letter headed paper shall bear Names and Nationalities of the Directors of the Company at the bottom, duly signed by the authorized officer of the firm.

3. COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Interested Companies are to collect Standard Bidding Documents from the Procurement Division (Office of the Vice-Chancellor), Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko, Delta State between 9am–4pm (Monday-Friday) on payment of a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) only to be paid into Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko TSA Remita Internally Generated Revenue Account with CBN through any Commercial Bank and obtain receipt from the Bursary Department.

Market Assessment of Chlorine Products for Household Drinking-Water Treatment in Nigeria
UNICEF Nigeria is conducting a market assessment of chlorine-based products available in Nigeria that may potentially support Household Water Treatment (HWT) interventions, particularly for cholera prevention, preparedness and response.
The assessment will help UNICEF understand the availability, affordability, geographic reach, quality and regulatory status of existing chlorine products, as well as the capacity of the local market to manufacture, supply, adapt or scale products that may be suitable for household drinking-water treatment.
UNICEF invites manufacturers, importers, authorized distributors, water-treatment chemical suppliers, contract manufacturers and other companies with relevant chlorine-production or supply capabilities to respond. Companies whose products are not currently marketed for household drinking-water treatment, but which have relevant products or manufacturing capabilities, are also encouraged to participate.

SCOPE OF THE MARKET ASSESSMENT
UNICEF is interested in chlorine-based products including, but not limited to, sodium hypochlorite solutions, calcium hypochlorite products, sodium dichloroisocyanurate, chlorine tablets and other relevant chlorine-releasing compounds or formulations.

RESPONSE CATEGORIES
Respondents should clearly identify which of the following categories applies to each product or capability submitted:
– CATEGORY A – EXISTING PRODUCTS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE IN NIGERIA: Products already manufactured, imported, distributed or commercially available in Nigeria that are approved, registered, marketed or otherwise supported for household drinking-water treatment, or that may warrant technical assessment for such use.
– CATEGORY B – PRODUCTS OR MANUFACTURING CAPABILITIES THAT COULD BE ADAPTED OR DEVELOPED: Existing chlorine products not currently approved or marketed for HWT, or manufacturing capabilities that could be adapted to develop an appropriate product, subject to applicable technical, quality and regulatory requirements.

INFORMATION REQUESTED
For each relevant product currently manufactured, imported or distributed, respondents should provide information on:
– Product/brand name; manufacturer and country of manufacture; product type, chemical composition and active ingredient(s).
– Available chlorine concentration and details of additives, fragrances, colourants or other ingredients, where applicable.
– Intended and currently approved uses; pack sizes and packaging formats; shelf life and recommended storage conditions.
– For products intended, approved, registered or recommended for HWT: recommended dosage; volume of water treated per unit/pack; required contact time before consumption; expected Free Residual Chlorine (FRC) after the recommended contact time; dosing instructions for different water volumes and/or water-quality conditions, where applicable; and technical evidence supporting the recommended dosage and treatment performance.
– For each product submitted, provide evidence of applicable regulatory approvals, registrations, certifications and/or compliance with relevant national or international standards, including NAFDAC and SON requirements, where applicable.

The AGRICULTURE VALUE CHAIN FACILITY (EU-VACE) / TARED is jointly co-financed by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ. It is integrated into the Transformative Agriculture Systems for Rural Economic Development (TARED), the bilateral anchor programme of GIZ for agricultural development. The duration of the Action is from October 2024 to September 2028. The EU-VACE/TARED project aims to transform agricultural systems across four value chains (Dairy, Cocoa, Tomato and Ginger), and will wish to procure “Generator Procurement for GIZ Kano Office”.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Accelerating Nutrition Results in Nigeria (ANRiN) Project 2.0. and intends to apply part of the proceeds for payments under the contract for Basic Package of Nutrition Services: -Micronutrient Powder. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing (IPF), except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit.

2. The Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare – Accelerating Nutrition Results in Nigeria (ANRiN) Project now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the procurement of commodities to provide a Basic Package of Nutrition Services:- Micronutrient Powder. The description of goods is provided in Section II –Bid data sheet (BDS) ITB1.1 and the distribution to end lines is on Annex1 attached to the bidding document. Application of margin of preference of 15% will be applied for locally produced goods meeting the margin of preference requirement of the procurement document.

3. Bidding will be conducted through International Competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” February 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
